Brad Feld an Keith Smith, thank you for believing in HR

Brad Feld an Keith Smith, thank you for believing in HR Brad Felds reputation precedes him Brad Feld, Im not worthy! Brad Felds reputation precedes him I only recently met  Brad Feld  and have known  Keith Smith  for a number of years. This is a long time in coming, but  I just wanted to give Big Ups, a  proper shout out and thanks to a couple of guys I really respect. I was recently asked by Brad Feld for some thoughts on my personal Interviewing Philosophy and in typical Brad Feld graciousness, he posted them on his blog  feld.com. (Yes the highlight of my career)  Needless to say, I was flattered to be asked by a guy like Brad who has specific thoughts on the role of VP of People, the value of employees, and building teams. In the immortal words of Bill and Ted Im not worthy! More and more, investors are looking at the people side of companies starting out and building for scale, and this perception is changing because of vocal leaders like Brad Feld. Gentleman, thank you. Keith, for giving me a chance and  believing  in HR as an important role when it comes to building companies and listening to HR at the  executive  level.  Brad, thank you for believing in BigDoor, the team, your counsel, and of course reinforcing the value of HR. (Driving a ton of traffic to this blog doesnt go unnoticed either). The blog post was picked up by the WSJ and FastCompany and a few other notables that wouldnt have been possible without either of these two guys. Human Resources is often looked at as the scourge of a business, but these two guys get it. Gentleman,  Thank You and see you at the after party, HRNasty nasty: an unreal maneuver of incredible technique, something that is ridiculously good, tricky and manipulative but with a result that canĂ¢€™t help but be admired.   EG: He has a nasty forkball.
